About Us

The owner of Sierra Inspection Services, Kelly Reeve has over 30 years of experience in the real estate inspection industry and has performed over 20,000 paid inspections over the course of his career. He is an ASHI Certified Inspector, an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector, a licensed FAA Part 107 Commercial  Drone Pilot, a formerly licensed Structural Pest Control Operator, and General Contractor. Kelly has owned and run his own successful remodeling/construction business. His experience in construction ranges from new/remodel framing, to tile, flooring, plumbing, electrical, concrete, roof, and structural repairs & more.    Kelly is a nationally recognized expert in forensic construction investigations and consulting.  

Kelly has personally performed over 14,000 home inspections and more than 12,000 termite (Pest) inspections to date. When you choose Kelly Reeve of Sierra Inspection Services, you are choosing the voice of experience. 

 In fact, Kelly’s level of experience has been recognized with his sixth re-appointment to the American Society of Home Inspector’s National “Committee for Ethical and Professional Practices” in 2021.  Kelly is one of only three inspectors nationwide to be appointed to this committee. The committee works closely with ASHI Counsel, reviewing and investigating reported violations of ASHI’s Code of Ethics along with the Policy and Procedure Code. Kelly has been certified by both ASHI & InterNACHI as a Certified Professional Inspector. Kelly maintains these certifications by performing over 50 hours of continuing education every year to stay up to date on the latest techniques, information, and training available in the home inspection industry.

Our Home Inspection reports are in compliance with the InterNACHI SOP. The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors has received ACCT accreditation to award the ASHI Certified Inspector credential to those members meeting our highest standard. ASHI Standards are the standards utilized by the California Superior Court for enforcement in cases of litigation involving home inspections.

The State of California does not offer licensing for home inspection.
